Daily Sketches: Week 6

Monday: Chris Walken got the Blues
Probably quite an apt illustration for a Monday. This is Christopher Walken from Fatboy Slim’s “Weapon of Choice” video just before he starts his awesome dancing.

Tuesday: Walken Get’s His groove On
Christopher-walken--illustration
Thought that I should  offer a livelier version of the Fat Boy Slim video. Likeness isn’t really down but i think the dancing is.

Wednesday: David Bowie???
I wasn’t happy with this one at all. Somebody had suggested David Bowie as something to draw but I just never got the likeness down. It loks more like a drawing from Neil Gaiman’s “Sandman” whihc would have been fine if it wasn’t for the fact that it was supposed to be a jovial illustration of Bowie. Still, you can’t win them all.

Thursday: Chewbacca Seeks a Thrill
After the battle of Endor, the fall of the evil Galactic Empire, and being a part of the rebellion, Chewbacca found pursuits such as parachuting(pictures) to be wholly inadequate when it came to satisfying his hunger for adrenaline.

Friday: Tony Blair Lightens The Mood
“To me, there’s nothing like a spot of tap dancing to show tunes whilst indulging in a spot of maniacal laughter to counter any fears I sometimes have that I may actually be a sociopathic, murderous war criminal after all” said Tony Blair one sunny Sunday afternoon.

Saturday: Steampunk Girl Drops the Bomb
Wheeeeeeeeeee………

Sunday: Master Splinter
Master Splinter of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fame. Not seen the ninja turtles in so long that I can’t actually remember if he was like a wise old sage like yoda or a bit of a lunatic. Oh well, here he is brandishing a baseball bat whilst leaping through the air anyway.
