Identical – Illustration Friday

This weeks word is “Identical”. Interestingly enough(or maybe not interesting at all), this is the first time I’ve ever colored a pencil illustration and then opted to remove the pencil layer entirely. I think I like it. It forces you to work a great deal harder with your coloring though as you can no longer use the pencil lines to cover up any lazy brush strokes.

I actually found this one pretty challenging. I wasn’t sure how to approach this one.

In the end, I stopped sketching and went to writing down some of my ideas. It’s something that I occasionally resort to when I get a bit of doodlers block on. For anyone that may be interested, here’s what I scribbled below…
